Alas, East Java is the language which means the forest, and indeed Alas Purwo is a very interesting forest for the adventurous, there are also guarded by several checkpoints, including at Rowobendo from where we explore bias Regions Alas Purwo National Park which covers the total area of approximately 43,420 hectares and partly filled with bamboo trees, and in this forest we can not bring private vehicles since been provided by local officials for a tour car rental through the forest. Amazing!!! Sail Bunaken 2009 has create a new world record for the largest group dive. Nearly 3,000 divers plunging into the famed waters of Bunaken, North Sulawesi.
The information center of the 2009 Sail Bunaken committee said 2818 people attended the event, but only 2805 people are still under water at least 25 minutes. This is the minimum length of time required by the Guinness Book of Records, whose representatives were on hand to assist the new record. Divers began entering the water at 8 in the morning. Today, July 15th, thousand of tourist have opportunity to witness royal cremation. Two members of the royal family, Tjokorda Agung Gede Suyasa and Tjokorda Gede Raka, cremated as well as up to eighty Ubud residents. Within the Ubud Palace walls there has been a huge amount of activity. Streams of women, dressed in kebaya (traditional blouse) and sarong, have been pouring into the inner grounds to help with the activities. The center of town has, in fact, become a bustling eco-friendly bamboo jungle of sorts, a rustic-style atmosphere bathed in a soft filtered light.

Pasola is the name of the former war ritual festival. Participant divide into two groups of some Sumbanese men. Every participant ride coloring horse, they begin war by throwing wooden spears on each other. The traditional ceremony held on the path of sympathy unique and traditional norms, each year in February and March.

Lake Sentani Festival runs from July 16 to July 19 2008 to support the annual Lembah Baliem Festival in Jayawijaya District in August, 2008. The Lake Sentani Festival will be held as an effort to protect the culture of the Jayapura District, mainly in the Sentani Lake area. Besides holding the cultural events, he added, the province has been reorganizing the tourist sites in the area, including the Holtekam Beach located some 60 kms from Jayapura.

Bali Culture Festival 2008 runs from 14 June - 12 July 2008. The theme from this year festival is Citta Wretti Nirodha, meaning “self control leading to balance and harmony”.
