Alas, East Java is the language which means the forest, and indeed Alas Purwo is a very interesting forest for the adventurous, there are also guarded by several checkpoints, including at Rowobendo from where we explore bias Regions Alas Purwo National Park which covers the total area of approximately 43,420 hectares and partly filled with bamboo trees, and in this forest we can not bring private vehicles since been provided by local officials for a tour car rental through the forest. Amazing!!! Sail Bunaken 2009 has create a new world record for the largest group dive. Nearly 3,000 divers plunging into the famed waters of Bunaken, North Sulawesi.
The information center of the 2009 Sail Bunaken committee said 2818 people attended the event, but only 2805 people are still under water at least 25 minutes. This is the minimum length of time required by the Guinness Book of Records, whose representatives were on hand to assist the new record. Divers began entering the water at 8 in the morning. The Minahasan region covers an area of approximately 418,862 Ha with a population of 733,029 people (1996).The capital of this district is Tondano, a town close to Lake Tondano.It is situated on a plateau 700 m above sea level, surrounded by magnificent countryside with cool mountainous air. Minahasan people believe the legend that they are descendants of Toar and Lumimuut. The reminders of this time long ago are the Waruga, stonegraves in Sawangan Airmadidi, and Watu Pinabetengan in Tompaso.

Lembeh Strait is a 12 km. long stretch of water separating Lembeh Island and the mainland. Bitung is actually the half way point along the shores of Lembeh Strait. This pristine section of water in North Sulawesi is home to many unique sea animals which include the pygmy seahorse, mimic octopus, ghost pipefish, as well as other larger species. It is a fantastic dive area for underwater photographers and the diversity of smaller creatures ensures many memorable photo opportunities.

Bunaken is located at the north of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. It belongs administratively to the municipality of Manado. Bunaken is part of the Bunaken National Marine Park, which has some of the highest levels of marine biodiversity in the world. Scuba diving attracts many visitors to the island. The Bunaken National Marine Park was formally established in 1991 and is among the first of Indonesia’s growing system of marine parks.
