
Manta Point dive site located at south-west Nusa Penida is one of most popular dive sites at Bali. People call its Manta Point because It’s possible to encounter the Manta Ray at this location. Dive conditions can be challenging at this place because this part of Nusa Penida is under the influence of the ocean to the south.


Manta Point Rock
During the months from April to June, Manta Rays crowd along the reef, they come to feed on plankton, mating, and to visit cleaning stations. They swim in the course of the gaping mouth to feed, they move against the current. You can see near the surface and hit the water with their wings. Mantas come in all sizes and colors, gray with light underbellies dazzling white, jet black with white buttons on their mandibles. They may be curious and close of the experiment is quite possible.
